Dr. Ognjen (Ogi) Visnjevac is a pain management specialist currently accepting new patients at the Toronto Poly Clinic and at Hitek Medical Imaging. He is an FRCPC anesthesiologist who did his interventional pain management training at the Cleveland Clinic, the largest academic pain management department in the US, and practices as a staff pain management specialist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. When a patient is referred to Dr. Visnjevac, he or she can expect the full breadth of patient care: a thorough assessment, investigations as indicated, appropriate interventional pain procedures, medical management, and physical therapy or psychological referrals, as indicated.

Dr. Visnjevac’s medical education has included extensive training in a large variety of interventional pain procedures, pain diagnostics for a very broad range of etiologies, imaging techniques, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, and spinal cord stimulation, including dorsal root ganglia stimulation. He has published extensively, both in the medical literature and through the authorship of 4 books, including a medical textbook on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, for which he is considered a medical expert. Dr. Visnjevac is also involved in medical education and has given lectures on Spinal Cord Stimulation at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Cranial and Facial Pain Management at Western University in London, ON, as well as at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He has also taught other practicing pain physicians new techniques at the Ultrasound-Guided Nerve Block Workshop (18th Cleveland Clinic Pain Symposium, San Diego, USA) and was an invited lecturer, presenting Image-Guided Pain Management Techniques at the Canadian Academy of Pain Management 2017 annual pain management course.
